Scuba diving

Our dives take place in the bay of Nosy Be, more specifically around the island of Beravina, ideally situated between Nosy Be and Nosy Iranja.

We have 2 catamarans equipped for scuba diving and 2 brand new speedboats.
Departing from the island on one of our speedboats, we have access to all the dive sites in the area in less than 30 minutes.

The exceptional location of the island of Beravina also enables us to reduce our environmental footprint.
So if you don’t have the time for a catamaran cruise, and if ecological impact is an absolute priority for you, we’ll avoid travelling distances by motor and offer you the chance to dive directly from the island’s beach.
Those accompanying you who are not diving will be able to enjoy the peace and quiet of the island, relax and access our beaches while you are diving.

Whether you’re a beginner or an experienced diver, the sites are suitable for all levels, from starting from the beach to deep dives in the deep blue.
We offer exploration dives and scuba diving courses.
For the more motivated, we also offer night dives to discover the seabed in a different way.
As a general rule, we do not exceed a depth of 40 metres, except for certain deep dives reserved for experienced divers.

Massimiliano will take care of you, respecting diving standards and paying particular attention to your safety.

Our aim is to offer you a quality service, an original experience in intimate groups according to your wishes and your scuba diving skills.

In this zone, the water temperature varies very little, and the wetsuits will give you the comfort you need to feel at ease.
The diving equipment at your disposal is rigorously checked and regularly renewed.

The sites are extremely varied.
You can dive on rich and varied reefs, sandy seabeds, caves, arches, faults, etc.

Right in the middle of these reliefs, you can observe myriads of fish, turtles, sharks, whales, whale sharks, dolphins, eagle rays, stingrays, mantas, etc.
Fans of pelagic fish will of course head for the open sea, while lovers of colour and macro photography will be content with the shallow reefs.

Diving spots

In the Nosy Be archipelago and on cruises

The dives below are some of those possible in the archipelago and the areas covered by our catamarans.
Our centre also organises PADI scuba diving courses (international certificates: NASE, SSI) with the issue of a certificate.

Nosy Tanikely

This is a small island close to Nosy Be covered in a beautiful forest. It is a marine park with stunning coral reefs. Depths vary between 5 and 23 metres.
For further information, visit www.tanikely.com
Fauna: black coral, jacks, leopard sharks, fusiliers, stingrays, lobsters, red carp, lion fish, turtles. This is an easy dive, accessible to all levels, even beginners.

Castor Bank

This dive site is only accessible during a cruise.

The Beaver is one of the most technical dives in the area: a circular shoal with an 18-metre peak. The dive develops mainly on the outer walls, in the western part, a short distance from another small feature with a cap at around 25 metres. Grey sharks and white tips live here, with large groupers and moray eels in the upper part of the relief. A splendid open sea dive which, due to the medium depth and the presence of the current, is suitable for expert divers.

Nosy Iranja drop

This dive is characterised by several spots on the drop-off reaching up to 60m where you can see mantas, white-tip sharks, leopard sharks, swordfish, alcyonari, gorgonians and all the coral species.

Crater wreck

Dive with the possibility of current, for experienced divers (Level 2 and above). This dive takes place on a 25m fishing boat on a 28m sandy bottom.
Fauna: Jacks, fusiliers, barracudas, lion fish, glass fish, stonefish, tuna and rays.

Manta point

Dive site on the 5m bank at a depth of 25 to 28m. Sandy seabed with coral spurs. This dive spot is occasionally used as a cleaning station for manta rays. This dive is suitable for beginners with little experience.
Fauna: Stingrays, groupers, turtles and tuna.

Ankazoberavina bank

Further north of the private island (Ankazoberavina), the seabed is 18m deep. This is an easy dive, suitable for everyone, even beginners.
Fauna: The fauna is remarkable: gorgonians, black coral, groupers, fusiliers, surgeons, jacks, stingrays…

Black beach Ankazoberavina

This dive takes place near a private island (Ankazoberavina) in a protected marine area. It’s an easy dive, suitable for everyone, even beginners, with a depth of 15 metres.
Fauna: Turtles, groupers, fusiliers, humpback parrotfish and all the coral fish with spotted blue rays.

Ankazoberavina west

This is a shallow dive with current (18m), rich in soft coral (alcyonaria) and barrier fish. It is also possible to see eagle rays. This dive is suitable for all levels.

A very beautiful dive with its rock formations rising out of the sea to a height of 100 metres, very pretty and very rich in coral fish.
Fauna: fusiliers, lobsters, moray eels and many starfish (acantharia).
