From Nosy Radama to Nosy Hara

Itineraries can be chosen directly with the captain according to your requirements. The catamaran’s full crew includes the skipper/underwater instructor, a sailor guide and the cook, but only the sailor/guide may be available depending on the conditions chosen for the cruise.

With a full crew, you’ll be able to enjoy your holiday to the full without having to worry about a thing, as the skipper knows the area very well. Crew presence will in no way affect your freedom of navigation, as he will be happy to leave you at the helm whenever you want.

Trolling rods are always available on board and outside protected areas you can fish while sailing. Other activities on board include underwater fishing, diving, snorkelling, land trekking and kayak tours, depending on the possibilities offered by the location.

Nosy Be archipelago

Boarding the catamaran moored at the crater (Ambatoloaka, Nosy Be). Crossing to the Nosy Tanikely marine reserve, with its rich coral seabed frequented by sea turtles and renowned for its scuba diving. Snorkelling during the morning, lunch on board and continuation of the crossing to Nosy Komba (a volcanic island 680 metres above sea level, famous for its craft market and lemur reserve). The night will be in Nosy Komba.
Morning at Nosy Komba, departure in the afternoon for the sacred island of Nosy Faly via Nosy Vorohona. Night at Nosy Faly.
Departure from Nosy Faly after lunch, heading for Nosy Fanihy along the Nosy Be coast. Overnight in Andilana Bay, Nosy Be.
Early morning crossing to Nosy Ankazoberavina. This is a protected reserve where marine turtles come to lay their eggs. Lemurs inhabit its forest. Visit the island and go snorkelling. Lunch. Visit to Nosy Antsoa and Ankyvonjy islands, home to various species of seabirds: frigate birds, eagles, fishermen, etc... At the end of the day, a leisurely sail to the Bay of the Russians.

Late morning departure for Nosy Iranja, the most distant of the islands that make up the Nosy Be archipelago A tongue of white sand joins the two islands. During low tide, the waters are crystal clear. On the small main island, there is a small village and a lighthouse that can be visited. The lighthouse offers a splendid view of the entire coastline. Overnight on the coast not far from Baramamay.

Departure for Nosy Be; lunch on board and visit to Nosy Sakatia before arriving late in the afternoon at the Cratère. Disembarking

Nosy Radama

These are made up of 4 islands to the south of the Nosy Be archipelago.
The main island, Kalakajoro, is home to a fishing village and is famous for its diving sites. It has now become completely wild. In colonial times, it served as a commercial port of call and was home to ylang-ylang, coconut and vanilla plantations.
Its coastline is characterised by white sandy beaches and sandbanks over coral reefs.

Boarding at the crater (Ambatoloaka) and departure for Nosy Ankazoberavina, an island declared a protected marine reserve and characterised by sea turtle nests on the beach and lemurs in the forest. Visit the island, snorkel and swim the morning away. After lunch, visit Nosy Antsoa and Ankyvonjy islands. The islands are inhabited by different species of seabirds: fregates, terns, tailed peacocks. Afterwards, we take a leisurely sail to the Baie des Russes. Overnight in the bay.

After breakfast, crossing to Nosy Kalakajoro, Radama's first island. Visit to the village and overnight in Kalakajoro.
Breakfast and sail to Nosy Antany Mora, an island sacred to the Sakalava people. Lunch by the beach and a day on the island. Overnight at Antany Mora.
Departure for Nosy Valiha, an island renowned for its variety of coral species and fish-filled seabed. Return to Kalakajoro in the afternoon, docking on the island of Nosy Berafia. Overnight in Kalakajoro.
Sail towards Nosy Ankazoberavina and spend the night in Russian Bay.
Departure for Nosy Tanikely Marine Park, with its rich coral reefs frequented by sea turtles, a renowned site for scuba diving. Snorkelling in the morning, lunch on board, return to the crater in the afternoon and disembark.

Nosy Mitsio

The Mitsio Islands are a volcanic archipelago around 45 miles from Nosy Be. Of these islands, only the largest, “La Grande Mitsio”, is inhabited, and the others are known as the “Virgin Islands”.

Early in the morning, board the catamaran anchored at the Ambatoloaka crater in Nosy Be, then cross to the Mistsio islands. Lunch on board and arrival late in the afternoon at the 4 Brothers, monoliths rising out of the sea on which a multitude of birds make their nests, including frigate birds, terns, tailed peacocks, cape gannets, etc.. Arrive at Grande Mitsio for the night.

Visit the Grande Mitsio, the splendid Ampasindava beach and the Pachypodium forest. Behind the south-western tip of the island are basaltic columns, a geological formation of black basalt. In the afternoon, departure for Nosy Ankarea, a basaltic island in the shape of a table, bordered by white sand. A path takes you to the top of the island to admire the splendid panorama of the entire archipelago. Return to Grande Mitsio for the night.
Departure for Nosy Lava, a volcanic island lined with rocks that drop sheer to the sea. A strip of sand links the two parts of the island. Visit to the shark fishing village. Lunch on board and off to Nosy Antaly. Overnight in Nosy Antaly.
Departure for Nosy Tsarabanjina, a splendid island lined with white sand beaches (in Malagasy, its name means the island of white sand) bathed in crystal-clear water. On land, you can visit rich vegetation interrupted by volcanic rocks and a Sakalava cemetery built into a large cave. Fish eagles, herons and moorhens all nest on this island. Night at Nosy Tsarabanjina.
Depart in the direction of Nosy Faly, arriving late in the afternoon and spending the night on the way back to Nosy Be.
Departure for Nosy Tanikely Marine Park, with its rich coral reefs frequented by sea turtles. This is a famous site for scuba diving. During the morning, lunch on board, return to the crater in the afternoon and disembark.

Baie du courrier, Nosy Hara

This original and authentic cruise takes you to the Nosy Hara nature park. Scuba diving and snorkelling are available at every stage of this itinerary.

The archipelago comprises 17 islands to the north of Cape San Sebastian. The main one is Nosy Hara.

This area, surrounded by coral reefs, has been protected since 2012 and offers fine sandy beaches, turquoise lagoons, tsingys and numerous aquatic and coral species.

This cruise lasts a minimum of 7 to 8 days.
The most favourable periods are from November to January and from April to May.

Grande Mitsio

Boarding at the crater (Ambatoloaka) and departure in the direction of Grande Mitsio, visit of the island, the splendid Ampasindava beach and the Pachypodium forest. Behind the south-western tip of the island are basaltic columns, a geological formation of black basalt.

Cap Saint-Sébastien:

After breakfast, the route continues towards Cape San Sebastian. Snorkelling or diving. The boat is anchored on site.

Nosy Hara:

Departure for the Nosy Hara archipelago in the middle of the Bay of Mail. A protected area since 2012, made up of 17 islands surrounded by coral reefs, you can spot seabirds, bats and numerous reptiles, including the brookesia micra, the world's smallest chameleon.

Nosy Lava:

Nosy Lava is a volcanic island lined with rocks that drop sheer to the sea. A strip of sand links the two parts of the island. Visit to the shark fishing village.

Nosy Ankarea:

Nosy Ankarea is a basalt, table-shaped island bordered by white sand. A path takes you to the top of the island to admire the splendid panorama of the entire archipelago.

Nosy Tsarabanjina:

A splendid island bordered by a white sandy beach (in Malagasy its name means the island of white sand). On land, there is a Sakalava cemetery built into a large cave. You can see fishing eagles, herons and moorhens.

4 Brothers:

Monoliths rising out of the sea on which a multitude of birds nest, including frigate birds, terns, tailed peacocks, cape gannets.

Nosy Hara with a visit to the northern parks

During your stay, you can take a 7-8 day catamaran cruise on the outward journey, visiting the Mitsio islands and then the islands of the Nosy Hara archipelago. In the second half of the trip, you will go ashore at Ampasindava, where a 4×4 will be waiting to take you to Diego-Suarez.
You will visit the town and its vestiges of the colonial era, as well as its large market. The following day, you will visit the three Bays (Baie des Sakalava, the French Mountain and the Emerald Sea).
The following day, you will set off to discover the Amber Mountain, a veritable primary forest home to numerous endemic animal and plant species, as well as a magnificent waterfall.

On the way back, you can visit the Tsingy Rouges and Ankarana Park in one or two days, depending on your programme.
You can then choose to return by sea or land.

By land

Travel to Nosy Be by road, as far as Ankify, where a fast shuttle will be waiting for you.

By sea

Reach Ampasindava after visiting the parks, then take the catamaran back to Nosy Be.
